One of our pre-departure assignments is a paper discussing Web 2.0 applications for libraries. As part of the assignment, we were required to create our own multimedia component.
Back in 2009, I made a funny little video called "Bella Confronts Edward." I used Xtranormal, which is a site that allows you to make an animated video by typing dialogue and choosing sets, characters and actions. It used to be completely free, but now you have to buy points to publish more than just your first simple video.
In this video, Ryan the public librarian, and Hannah, a member of the library's Teen Council, talk about Web 2.0 and Holly Black's fun book, White Cat.
